Dog Tag Buddies
We are super excited about our next campaign that will feature
Dog Tag Buddies. This campaign will perfectly align with the upcoming Veterans Day and hopefully some of your holiday shopping! Please help us support the fabulous organization.
“Dog Tag Buddies is a Montana nonprofit that helps veterans living with the invisible wounds of war, including PTSD, TBI, and other hidden injuries. Through a two-year program, veterans are matched with carefully selected dogs and learn to work together as a service dog team.
Dog Tag Buddies recruits service dog candidates from a variety of sources, including rescues and shelters. Each dog is chosen for the health, temperament, and potential needed for service work. Once matched, training happens at both ends of the leash. The dog learns the skills needed to support their veteran, while the veteran builds confidence, learns to respond to challenges, and works toward reconnecting with family and community.
A service dog is not a cure. It is a tool that can help a veteran move forward. Through training, the veteran and dog build a strong partnership based on trust, teamwork, and many hours of learning together.
Dog Tag Buddies provides its program at no cost to the veteran. Donations help cover training, veterinary and wellness care, food and treats, crates, leashes, collars, and other supplies needed along the way.
By supporting Dog Tag Buddies, you are investing in both ends of the leash—helping dogs become skilled service partners while giving Montana veterans the tools and support they need to live more independent, connected lives.”

Townsend Cat Network
The Townsend Cat Network campaign is now over. Thank you to all of the supporters from around the country! We were able to donate $340 to the organization AND with the help of all of you generous supporters, we were able to buy them a 10’x10’x6’ enclosure for their brand-new safe area for spayed and neutered trapped felines.

Dee-O-Gee Missouri Rover Take Over
Join us on August 30th from Noon to 6:00 PM!
Missouri River Brewing has gone to the dogs.
Dee-O-Gee will be hosting a Doggone good time at MRB.
We will be there with our very own booth taking orders for our great the Dog and Me swag. 100% of the profits from our sales will go into our General Fund, where we donate to small-market, no-kill animal shelters and animal welfare organizations in Montana.
Musical talents from Alex Zimmerman and Cody Strunk. The Original Stop will be providing Sno cones, and the Montana Radio station has sponsored Splash pads for the pups. The Montana National Guard will be set up with entertainment for the kiddos. Dee-O-Gee's Groomers will be present, offering $10 Nail trims for your pups; half that cost will go towards our fundraising efforts. They will have Beer flights for our 2 legged and 4 legged guests with pup-safe options like Goat’s Milk, Bone Broth, and pup cups. There will be Several local vendors, rescues, and shelters to educate our animal-loving community about what they do.

The Beaverhead Animal Shelter campaign is now over. Thank you to all of the supporters from around the entire country! We were able to donate $625 to the shelter.

Lewis & Clark Humane Society
“the Dog and Me” did doggone good!
We had an incredible start to our very first campaign to raise money for Montana small-market, no-kill animal shelters through sales of our fun products. As a result, we are absolutely thrilled that $1000 from our sales (100% of our profits), plus ANOTHER $1000 donated to us by Stockman Bank in Helena, equals a total of $2000 for our very first beneficiary: the Lewis & Clark Humane Society (LCHS) in Helena.
We met our $1000 goal, and Stockman Bank’s generosity makes our total donation twice as powerful. And, as we had envisioned for our partnership with shelters, LCHS staff worked hard and creatively with us to support the project.
Amazing folks across Helena, across Montana, and across the country bought our monogrammed hats, dog bowls, and tumblers; some even made donations on top of buying our products. We are so grateful to all who embraced our efforts in this first initiative. We are also thrilled to announce that our next featured animal shelter will be the Beaverhead Animal Shelter. Their campaign will run from June 1 – June 30, 2025.
